An elderly man in a tuxedo exits one of the bathroom stalls. He buttons his suit jacket, says “good evening” to Ed, then leaves the men’s room.
From the same stall a moment later, a nearly naked woman in a g-string and formal gown is climbing back into her clothes. “Hi!” she says to Ed. She checks her hair out in the mirror, then smiles at Ed again. “Good night!” she says.
At the Baccarat table, Mister Williams whispers into Hamid’s ear.
Meanwhile, Diana paces in front of the hotel phone in the ladies’ lounge.
Later, Hamid is talking to Ed in the men’s room.
“Can you tell me how all of this happened?” asks Hamid.
“I don’t know,” says Ed. “Right now, she’s waiting for your call at this number.” Ed hands Hamid a scrap of paper. “All I know is she needs your help.”
Hamid looks at Ed. Mister Williams looks at Hamid.
At a lounge in the club, Hamid walks toward a phone, where a man with a beard is having a heated discussion.
“Have I ever lied to you?” asks the bearded man. “Okay, what can we talk about?”
Mister Williams taps the man on the shoulder. The man looks up.
