The two SAVAK agents shoot the barking dog in the elevator. The owner looks on in horror. 

The SAVAK driver is watching TV when he spies Ed and Diana running out the stairway door. He screams something in Farsi. The SAVAK man with the scar in the back seat turns around to see where Ed and Diana went. 

The two SAVAK men in the lobby run back to the car. 

Ed and Diana run out to Avenue of the Stars. 

“Where are we going?” asks Diana.

“Away from here!” replies Ed. 

The SAVAK car fishtails onto the Avenue of the Stars. 

Ed and Diana run across the median, and try to flag down a taxi by standing in the middle of the road.  The bounce on the hood as the taxi comes to a stop. Ed and Diana get inside. 

“What’s the matter with you people, crazy?” yells the taxi driver. 

The SAVAK car screeches to a halt in front of the taxi. The SAVAK man with the neck scar shoves a gun in the taxi driver’s window. 

“Aw f— this!” says the taxi driver. The SAVAK man shoots his revolver, knocking out the taxi driver’s passenger window. 

The taxi driver throws the car in reverse, knocking the SAVAK man off balance into the street. The taxi spins around so it’s facing the wrong way on Avenue of the Stars, and then shifts into drive. 

The SAVAK guy angrily gets to his feet and wipes his bloody nose. They all climb back into the Mercedes to pursue the cab.
