“If you need a better car, go see Cal!” sings the commercial on the motel TV.

“For the best deal by far, go see Cal!” it continues.

“If you want your payments low, if y-” the commercial cuts off as Ed throws the TV switch.  Ed takes off his jacket, pushes the stacks of money aside, props one pillow atop another, and leans back against them. 

Meanwhile, Diana is taking a show. The scene alternates between Diana and Ed.
