“You’re going to have to negotiate with Shaheen,” says Jack. 

“Negotiate?” asks Ed.

“Offer to sell her the stones,” replies Jack. “She’ll understand that.”

“What about the Frenchman?” asks Ed. 

“What Frenchman?” asks Jack.

“Someone else who wants to kill us,” replies Ed. 

“Well, whoever he is, he can’t possibly be as dangerous as Shaheen,” replies Jack.

“What do we do?” says Ed. 

“Go around by my office,” says Jack, “The number’s on the Rolodex. Shaheen Parvesi.”

“Parvesi, right” repeats Ed. He looks at Diana. “I’ll just wait outside.”

Diana mouths “ok.” Ed leaves. Diana sits next to Jack on the bed.  

“You get out of the country, and start again,” says Jack. “This’ll probably be the best thing that ever happened to you, Peach.”

“I thought you hated me,” says Diana. She leans into Jack, and kisses his forehead. They hug.
