Bud Herman, confused after meeting Ed outside Christie’s motor home, climbs into the side door of the vehicle.\u00a0<\/p>

Just then, the Kalijak publicist arrives behind Bud with some photos.\u00a0

“Bud!” says the publicist.<\/p>

“Yeah?” asks Bud.\u00a0<\/p>

“For the L.A. Times,” says the publicist, holding out 8×10 photos.\u00a0 “This? Or this?”\u00a0<\/p>

“They’re both s—t,” replies Bud.<\/p>

“Thank you,” says the publicist.<\/p>

“You’re welcome,” says Bud, closing the door.\u00a0<\/p>

Inside the dressing room, Bud talks to Christie.<\/p>

“Christie,” begins Bud, then notices they’re not alone. “Oh, hi, Di!”\u00a0<\/p>

“Hi Bud!” replies Diana.<\/p>

“Christie, who’s the clown hanging around in front of your trailer?”\u00a0

“Oh, he’s – he’s with me,” replies Diana.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

“Oh, fine,” says Bud. He turns to Christie. “Christie, remember to act scared. This guy has a gun to your head.”<\/p>

“I know the feeling,” says Diana.\u00a0<\/p>

Bud looks at Diana, confused. “What?”\u00a0<\/p>

“Oh, nothing,” replies Diana.\u00a0<\/p>

“You look beautiful, honey,” says Bud to Christie.<\/p>

“Aw, thanks, Bud,” says Christie, as they kiss loudly.\u00a0<\/p>

“Good to see you, Di,” says Bud. He leaves.\u00a0<\/p>

“Want a stick of gum?” Christie asks Diana.\u00a0<\/p>

“No, thanks,” says Diana. Christie unwraps the gum and puts another piece in her mouth.\u00a0<\/p>

“So you won’t even ask him?” says Diana.\u00a0<\/p>

“Oh, I’d like to help you,” says Christie, “I really would, but you know, it’s Bud’s house.”<\/p>

“You live there, too!” says Diana. Christie ignores her as she combs her hair.\u00a0<\/p>

“Christie?” says the Assistant Director, “We’re all ready for you.”<\/p>

Christie touches up her lipstick with a pen. “Okay, I’ll be right there!” she says.\u00a0<\/p>

“Okay,” says the assistant director, who leaves.
