The flight attendant won’t let Ed and Diana stay on the plane that’s been taken out of service. 

“Very sorry, sir,” says the stewardess. “Rules are rules.”

Ed and Diana politely smile at her. 

At the exit of the jetway, Ed and Diana are confronted with Shaeen’s four SAVAK men, who are all smiling broadly. 

Ed and Diana are marched up one of LAX’s long terminal hallways. 

A man watches them walking. 

Ed glances up, and notices Monsieur Melville and his henchmen approaching from the opposite direction. Ed motions to Diana. “Look!” he says. 

Melville and his henchmen get closer. 

“Now, what happens?” asks Diana. 

“Allez-y” says Melville to his henchmen.  The hechmen pass the SAVAK guys , only to double back and fall in behind the two SAVAK men holding onto Ed and Diana. Melville’s men pull out switchblades, which they then stab into the two hindmost SAVAK agents. 

Diana screams as the two men fall to the floor.

“What the f—!” says the man who’s been watching from the side of the hallway. 

A redcap lets go of the wheelchair he was pushing. “Federal agent!” he shouts, “everybody down!” Melville pulls out a  gun, but the redcap agent shoots Melville in the chest. Melville falls to the ground. 

The SAVAK agent with the neck scar pushes people out of the way as he flees.
