Ed opens the double doors in Hamid’s apartment and discovers a dining room, candles lit, set for a dinner for six.  

Ed walks into the kitchen, where several vegetable trays, a cheese-covered turkey, a sliced cucumber tray shaped like a fish, and a rack of prime ribs are laid out on a center island. 

In the background, Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein continues to play on all the apartment’s many televisions.

 Ed walks into a small sitting room with a large TV that’s surrounded by a console filled with laser discs. 

In the movie on the TV, Bela Lugosi turns into an animated bat. 

Ed opens another door into a master bedroom. “Diana?” says Ed. He steps into the room, and the door closes suddenly behind him.  He looks around, and notices a dead woman sprawled across the bed. There’s another dead body on the floor.
