Diana stands on the boat slip of “Jack’s Boat.”

“Anyone aboard?” she calls out. A man appears on deck. 

“Diana,” he says, “you know you’re not supposed to come here anymore.”

“Larry,” says Diana, “I’m sort of in trouble. Let me just stay here tonight, okay? Jack won’t know anything about it, I promise.”

“You no longer have the use of this boat,” replies Larry. 

Diana thinks for a moment. “I must still have some clothes on board. Let me just shower and change.”

Larry says nothing.

“Can I at least use the phone? Please, Larry?” asks Diana. 

“The man says you no longer exist,” replies Larry .

“I’m in trouble, Larry,” pleads Diana. 

Larry says nothing.

“You’re a pig, Larry,” says Diana. 

“Goodnight, Diana,” says Larry, turning around and re-entering the main cabin of the ship.

Later, Diana climbs back into Ed’s Toyota. She sighs. 

“Is everything okay?” asks Ed, gesturing at the boat.

“Could you take me to Hollywood?” asks Diana. Ed looks at her, saying nothing. 

“Look, just a ride to Hollywood, okay?” repeats Diana.
