"1234 Malibu Canyon Road, Malibu, California," says Diana. "And our number is 456-2199."

"That's fine," says Sheriff Peterson, "We'll most likely be in touch within the next two days or so."

"Ooh, look at the time!" says Ed. "Honey, we're going to be really late!"

"Oh you're right!" says Diana. She holds out her hand. "It was nice meeting you, Sheriff! Thank you so much." She shakes his hand, then opens the limo door.

Turning to the henchman, Diana says, "Um, Sean? Jeff? Could you walk Pierre over to the Roberts' house? We're so late as it is, and it's only a block from here."

"See you later, Pierre!" called Ed from the driver's side.

"Bye, Sheriff!" says Diana. The limo fishtails north on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Sheriff Peterson turns to Melville. "So, are you having a nice time in America?" says the sheriff in a stilted, slow pace. Melville bounces on his heels and smiles, quietly enraged.

"You a friend of Mister Herman's?" asks the first detective.

Diana spots the coat under the wrecked coffee table.

"What's going on? I just came here to pick up my coat," says Diana.

"What coat?" asks Bud.

"My, uh, my big down coat?" replies Diana, "I loaned it to Christie - - she told me to pick it up today."

Ed watches Melville looking out the window of the limo.

Inside Bud's ransacked house, detectives are questioning Bud.

"Do you have any idea what they were looking for, Mister Herman?" says one detective.

"No!" shouts Bud.

"You never saw these guys before?" asks the other detective.

"I told you five times already: I don't know who they were, I don't know what they were after, okay? Jesus Christ!" says Bud.

"Sir, this woman says she came to pick up a coat from Mrs. Herman," says the sheriff.

"We're not married!" says Bud.
